The classes and characters of Age of Legends: Tales of the Lance (which we affectionately call "AoL") are as diverse as unique as the players that control them.
Contained in this section of the site are general descriptions, guidelines and tips for each of the classes on our MUD. Many classes can be shaped and molded to the idealistic views of the player (these are "Available Classes"), but some classes require specific codes of conduct or are restricted in other ways (these are "Restricted Classes").
An "Available Class" is a class which can be chosen directly from the character creation menu via a specific letter option. These classes are openly available to be picked and can be played immediately.
A "Restricted Class" is a class that exists in the world and on our MUD, but is not available as a choice from the character creation menu. These classes must be earned through dedication and excellent roleplay and serve as a reward to players who have proven themselves both capable and trustworthy to wield the power that these classes have.
